Who is responsible?
HAPPY HUMAN AS (org. no. 933 037 495), Dammane 19, 5337 Rong, Norway, is the controller for the personal data described here.
If you have questions about privacy, email post@happyhuman.no.
When you visit the website
The website doesn't use analytics, ad tracking, or cookies that track you.
The provider that hosts the website records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time in server logs. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
If you choose the light or dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage). It isn't sent to us, and you can delete it by clearing your browser data.
When you contact us
If you email us, we process your name, email address and what you write, so we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or that you want to enter into an agreement with us (Article 6(1)(f) or (b)).
We delete the enquiry when the matter is closed, and no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Group classes
New classes are currently posted in our Facebook group, where you can say whether you're coming. Meta is itself responsible for data on Facebook; see Meta's privacy policy.
We only use attendance to plan the classes.
We never publish photos or video in which you can be recognised without your permission. We only publish photos of children with their parents' consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we'll remove the photo.
Personal training (PT)
If you buy PT, we process your name, contact details, bookings and payments to fulfil our agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b)). We keep accounting records for five years after the end of the financial year, as the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires.
To keep training safe, your trainer may ask about injuries, illness or pregnancy. You share this health information voluntarily, and we only process it with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)). We delete it when your PT programme ends.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We use providers (processors) for website hosting, email and payments. They only get access to what they need to provide the service, and have a data processing agreement with us.
If a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we make sure there is a lawful basis for the transfer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you (access)
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to processing
- receive your data in a common format (data portability)
- withdraw your consent at any time
How to use your rights
Email post@happyhuman.no. We'll reply within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. We'd appreciate it if you contact us first so we can put it right.
Changes
We update this policy when we change how we process personal data. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
